Dr. Peters agrees with the Westminster Shorter Catechism that, "The chief end of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever." Thus, when he speaks, Dr. Peters seeks to glorify God by helping his listeners to enjoy God and His blessings. He does this by relying on the Scriptures and by focusing on the Messiah, whom the Scriptures reveal.
